03Questions
The ones I get asked
- Do I own the site?
- Yes. The domain is in your name and the site is yours. If you ever want to leave, I hand it over and help you move it.
- What does it cost after the first year?
- A small yearly fee covers hosting, the domain, security, and changes. Your quote shows it before we start. Cancel at least 30 days before renewal and the site and domain stay yours.
- How long does it take?
- A website is about two weeks from the day you say go, as long as I can get photos and your hours from you. An app depends on what it has to do, and I'll tell you before we start.
- Do I need to know anything about computers?
- No. You never have to log into anything. When something needs to change, send me a note and I change it.
- I already have a website. Is that a problem?
- No. I'll look at what you have. Sometimes it needs replacing and sometimes it just needs fixing, and I'll tell you which.
- Can I get email at my own address?
- Yes: yourname@yourbusiness.com, set up as part of the build.
